I grew up in Oxfordshire, Dorset and Hampshire, and was educated at New College, Oxford. After twice being a Foyle Young Poet of the Year, I subsequently won the University of Oxford's English Poem on a Sacred Subject Prize and the University of Cambridge's Winchester Reading Prize. In 2014, I won an Eric Gregory Award and read at Ledbury Poetry Festival. My poems have appeared in a variety of journals (including Magma, Envoi, Poem, Ambit and Oxford Poetry), and online at Ink Sweat & Tears, Visual Verse and Clinic. I have also contributed to several anthologies, including Best British Poetry 2013 and Best British Poetry 2015.
I have contributed as a reviewer to a number of publications, including Asymptote, Mslexia and Poetry Review, and I spoke at the 2014 Festival of Ideas in Cambridge. I have recently been pursuing graduate work in Cambridge alongside my work as a poet and author of pathographies.
